From the darkroom to digital
A 180 m² studio in Kadıköy, two photographers, a cinematographer and a retouching desk. We still pick every selection from a contact sheet.
We make the selection by hand
We founded the studio in 2009 as two friends shooting on film. We moved to digital but kept the habit: after every shoot we lay the frames out like a contact sheet and mark the best ones with a grease pencil.
So we don’t deliver a thousand frames; we deliver two hundred that are truly worth looking at. Every one is colour graded and the ones you choose are retouched.
Today we work on everything from weddings to fashion editorials, corporate portraits to commercials; the equipment is our own and the light is our studio’s.
